Why Choose an Organic Product?

 

  • Because it is the best choice for our health. Hippocrates already told us that our food was our medicine.

 

  • Because it is produced respecting the environment without polluting our ground, air or water.

 

  • Because organic production respects the animal welfare.

 

  • Because one directly supports the farmers and livestock farmers whose job it is to produce very high quality food so as to take care for our health and environment in this way.
 

What is the organic farming?

The organic farming is the most natural agricultural system. It relies on a number of objectives, principles and eco-friendly common practices.

Typical organic farming practices include:

  • Wide crop rotation as a prerequisite for an efficient use of on-site resources
  • Very strict limits on chemical synthetic pesticide and synthetic fertiliser use, livestock antibiotics, food additives and processing aids and other inputs
  • Absolute prohibition of the use of genetically modified organisms
  • Taking advantage of on-site resources, such as livestock manure for fertiliser or feed produced on the farm
  • Choosing plant and animal species that are resistant to disease and adapted to local conditions
  • Raising livestock in free-range, open-air systems and providing them with organic feed
  • Using animal husbandry practices appropriate to different livestock species

Secondly by our belief in that which we produce. We strongly bet on organic production, in that we think that it offers us the most healthy diet possible.

Our aim has always been, and continues to be, making a high quality food, as organic as possible and respecting the environment in order to fight for a healthy diet and a sustainable development of the ecosystem.
